Since 1560 A.D. this has been the Coat of Arms of the Mother Church, The Reformed Church of Hungary.

In the shield of the Coat of Arms stands the Lamb (Lord Jesus) on the book of the Open Bible.

Over the shield is a decorated helmet with the crown on top, ornamented by the legendary Pheonix-bird, reborn from its ashes with stretched out wings gazing at the shining sun overhead.

Behind the Lamb are the ever green branches of the palm tree.

The translated underscription means: "If God is with us, who is against us?"
